Dr. Lucienne van Schalkwyk is a general surgeon dealing exclusively with breast surgery for a range of breast-related conditions. With compassion and surgical excellence, Dr van Schalkwyk prides herself in individualised treatment plans for each patient and works alongside a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure comprehensive care.

Since going into private practice in 2018, Dr van Schalkwyk offers bespoke breast surgery for a range of breast conditions, and currently sees patients at three locations in Johannesburg: at Life the Glynnwood Hospital (Benoni), Netcare Unitas (Centurion) and Mediclinic Sandton (Bryanston).

From these three practices, Dr van Schalkwyk provides surgical treatment of various breast conditions including breast cysts, ductal ectasia, fibroadenomas, intraductal papillomas, breastfeeding-related problems, and all types of breast cancer on an individualised level, as each surgery is as unique as the patient.
